or more defect descriptors. The length of each defect descriptor is 4

bytes.

The

defect list length

specifies the total length, in bytes, of

the defect descriptors that follow. The defect list length is

equal to four times the number of defects.

Bytes 4–

The

defect descriptor

contains the 4-byte logical block

address of the defect. The defect descriptors must be in

ascending order.
